Original oil painting on linen
310 x 230 mm
oak frame
by artist Tory Burke
There is nothing quite like the magic of an absolute mirror-still day at the marina. I spotted this beautiful wooden boat resting peacefully in its pen, completely captivated by the fabulous reflections bouncing off the glass-like water. The reflection was so crisp and bright, it was almost as vivid as the boat itself! Capturing that perfect, quiet stillness and the play of light on the water was such a joy to paint on the linen canvas.
